If you're reading this, then you're likely on a fitness journey just like me. Congratulations on taking the first step! It's never easy to start, but once you do, you'll find that the rewards are endless.
When I first started, I didn't know where to begin. Fortunately, I had some friends who were already into fitness, and they helped me get started by working out together. Having a support system can be incredibly helpful, especially when you're just starting out. It took me a while to commit to a routine at the beginning. I would go to the gym sporadically, but I never really had a plan or a goal. It wasn't until I started following a structured workout split that I saw real progress.
My current workout split includes chest/triceps on Monday, legs/biceps on Tuesday, and back/shoulders on Wednesday, with a rest day in between, and then repeating the pattern for the following days. In addition to my workout routine, I also pay attention to my diet. I try to maintain a 300 calorie surplus to fuel my workouts and help with muscle growth. I'll focus more on what that diet consists of in the cooking section of my website, so stay tuned for that.
As the great Arnold Schwarzenegger once said, "The last three or four reps is what makes the muscle grow. This area of pain divides a champion from someone who is not a champion." So keep pushing yourself, and don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. With hard work and dedication, you can achieve your fitness goals and become a champion in your own right.
